I’m applying for the DTV Spouse visa from Laos. I already submitted our last 3 bank statements as requested, but they are now asking for an “update” of the bank statements.
I’m not sure what exactly they want me to send this time. Should I just resubmit the same 3 recent statements again, or do they expect newer ones ?
thank you so much for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on the financial documentation required for their DTV Spouse visa application after being asked for an "update" on their bank statements. Community members suggest that an update likely means a more recent statement than the last three submitted, possibly needing transactions up to the current date. Recommendations include resubmitting the same statements with recent transaction history, adding proof of balance, or getting a bank letter if the latest statement is unavailable.
I would give them, the same bank statements, along with a transaction history from the end of the last statement to current day. And give them something that shows today's date and the current balance.
If you dont have it, you can screen shot balance from your bank app with bank card, showing its the same number and write cover letter to explain. I have seen a lot of people in this group done that and got approved
Anonymous participant that’s what I figured. When I was on the edge of the month an agency told me be prepared they may ask for that next month you’re applying in. I was in the same situation that my end of month wasn’t out yet.
I saw one member mention just getting a letter from their bank of verification of
Funds for that day of the month since their statement wasn’t out yet
