Hi everyone! 👋

I’m Lithuanian and currently staying in Vietnam. I want to apply for the new Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) but the process seems a bit confusing.

My documents (like work contract and company registration) are in Lithuanian — I’ll translate them to English, but I’m not sure if they need to be “authenticated by the Thai embassy” or if that’s still required with the new online system.

Has anyone applied for the DTV visa from Vietnam recently? Did you use an agency? Any advice or success stories would really help! 🙏

Thanks in advance! 🙌

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Lithuanian expat currently in Vietnam is seeking advice on applying for the new Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), specifically regarding the translation and authentication of documents in connection with the online visa application process. Community responses suggest that applying through the home country embassy is preferable, as they would be familiar with the standard documentation required. There's also mention of notarization requirements for documents.

so you had the dogs translated and this agency didn't notarised them? Go back and ask them to complete this task.

"International.

Notarization:

Documents may need to be notarized by an authorized body or a diplomatic/consular mission. "

That’s why it is best to apply at the homecountry Embassy, They will know the “standard” documents supplyed from that country.

There are lots of answers to the questions, to be found by using the search function for that specifik Embassy.
