TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler needing assistance with a complicated flight itinerary involving multiple layovers across Malaysia and Singapore seeks advice on necessary transit visas and the timing for PCR testing in relation to COVID-19 regulations. Key points discussed include the requirement for PCR tests to align with transit timeframes and the implications of flight cancellations.
Yep Singapore is 48hours not 72 hours , I wouldn’t even want to do that kind of flight, on & off in so many destinations & so many long layovers , that is putting the %age of testing positive on arrival way above average , personally I wouldn’t take the risk
You will need to take test and get results 48 hours before leaving Guangzho to comply with Singapore regulations at least thats how i read it. The first international flight.
Oh sorry see it's one booking but different airlines but still think that domestic flight will change things as far as Covid tests/entry to Thailand. Don't know if your bags would even be tagged all the way through. I'm not an expert though but just pointing out some things I think you need to look into...also if any of these flights get cancelled or delayed along the way what happens?
You also have flights within Malaysia so not sure how that works as you are not just landing at one and transiting out of county but rather flying domestically. It would change things I think if you have to clear immigration. Not sure if that's allowed or not. Probably have to do a little digging to find out.
yes im in Beijing now....do they require paper proof of negative test results? Or will a digital copy suffice....my flight on the 31'st is at 9:55 am so I wouldnt be able to get the paper results
