Hi everyone, I canβt find this information anywhere. Are Fly-Thrus/Transits operating as normal through KL airport? I have a 6 hour transit/layover in KL March 24. I go from the Jakarta, Indonesia airport -> KL Malaysia. (6 hour layover). KL -> Krabi, Thailand. I received an email from AirAsia about a refund / change of flight option, but no answer if layovers/transits are operating as normal through KL airport. Thank you kindly!!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the status of fly-thrus/transits at KL airport during their 6-hour layover, as they were uncertain due to an email from AirAsia regarding a flight change. Responses indicated that as long as travelers do not cross immigration, transit areas should be functional.
and that is something you need to be talking to your air carrier about.

Thanks Julie. Iβm not entering Malaysia, just in the airport. But youβre right, may be better to just book whole new flight without a layover in Malaysia.
I have lived in Thailand for going on 3 years, and am currently overseas in Jakarta to renew my Visa. Just hoping to get home ππΌππΌππΌππΌ But my flight home has a 6 hour layover in KL Airport. So asking about that. But absolutely, Travel Plans are bad right now!

As long as you do not cross over immigration, those areas are still open.
