Does anyone have any experience entering Thailand through Koh Lipe, just wondering if there's any issue to watch out for. (Boarder run, Satun, Langkawi, Koh Lipe, Satun.)

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers have shared their experiences entering Thailand via Koh Lipe. The process involves boarding a ferry from Langkawi, where the crew will manage your passport during the ride. Upon arrival, passengers wait for immigration, which may take time depending on ferry traffic. Overall, users reported a smooth entry experience with no significant issues.

no issues, really smooth process. Helen described the system well

When boarding in Langkawi, they stamp you out of Malaysia and the captain keeps your passport. The ride is usually fine, weather depending. When you get to Lipe, the captain hands over all the passports and you wait around immigration to get called. This can take a long time depending on how many people/ferries arrived at one time.
