Hello! I want to ask if someone entry recently to Thailand (Koh Lipe) via Langkawi? I'm currently applying for an Online TR Visa, and was asked for the travel booking confirmation. So my question is if there's valid the ferry ticket from Langkawi instead a flight ticket? Thanks in advance!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about using a ferry ticket as a travel booking confirmation for their Online TR Visa application for entry into Thailand. They specifically ask if a ferry ticket from Langkawi to Koh Lipe is acceptable instead of a flight ticket. Responses indicate that a tourist visa must be applied for before entering Thailand and that booking confirmation should typically be for future flights into Thailand. Additionally, it is acknowledged that ferries operate between Langkawi and Koh Lipe.

There are ferry’s from Langkawi to Koh Lipe. It’s how I plan to travel as well but I just take the tourist Visa Exemption.

12Go.Asia is the site

You cannot apply for a tourist visa if you're in Thailand already.

When they ask for your booking confirmation they're asking for your future flight into Thailand because you can only get a tourist visa outside of Thailand.

Then you'll likely need to include the flights from Spain to Malaysia in your online application, mate. Though I'm really not sure how they'll react to a ferry as part of your journey... if they're unhappy with your application, they'll advise you.

good luck

but they specifically ask for the travel document to Thailand and can’t upload more than 1 document.

Are you in Spain now?

Can't create your own document showing your entire itinerary ?

As I said, I don't know how the Royal Thai Embassy will react to your rather singular routing.

Why not just transit through KL by air to BKK or enter LOS visa exempt? Or consider getting a multiple entry TR visa from which you'll be able to stay longer??

Up to you.

YMMV

Are you a Malaysian citizen or an official resident of Malaysia?

If not, you may have difficulty in applying online in the way you describe.
