Any issues entering with a Tourist Visa and getting stamped in for 60 days?

Thanks

thanks Tod.

The SETV application is asking for a document indicating current location (what is this?) and a travel booking confirmation (I’ve been told to book speedboat the day before from Langkawi.

I’m Canadian and I’m USA. The online visa system does allow me to apply for a tourist visa in this way.

I’ve completed the online application by booking a ferry ticket (changeable), accommodations in Lipe (changeable) and completed the Declaration that is found on the USA website.

Will update if there are any further requirements or anything else.

don't be surprised when they don't issue you with a visa.

why is that?

because you have to apply for the visa in the country you are physically in. I've no idea what information you fed into the form but suspect it's unlikely that you showed you were leaving from your home country.

I’m physically in the USA and applied through the Washington DC portal.

We will travel to multiple countries before we enter Thailand via Malaysia.

ah in that case you should be fine

you can't use the eVisa website when you're not in your country. You have to show transportion from your country to thailand,

If you're in Malaysia you BUY a tourist visa in person from one of the three thai consulates (Kuala Lumpur, Penang, or Kota Bharu)

where are you now and which thai embassy e-visa system are you applying in? Or if not evisa, which embassy?

Read the requirements for the Thai embassy which country you are applying from and fulfill the rrquirements

it sounds like they're trying to use the eVisa online program from their country in Malaysia. 😕
