Is it normal for a workcation visa application to take time for approval?

Which embassy? Sometimes they have an initial person who reviews to ensure all key documents are there. Once they are, they are then added to the queue to be reviewed by a consular who has decision making authority. So there is no reason to worry that you heard back quickly for additional docs and now waiting longer for a decision. Most of the time it is just in a large pile of applications, waiting to be reviewed

Where did you apply? The approval clock is reset upon receipt of documents. There were 2 Thai National hols early June which delay approval.

Was the request for the flight ticket and accommodation for the country you are applying from? And which country is that? Thank you 🙏🏻

I would call the embassy and just ask them if they received the documents just incase there was a technical issue.
