My 60 days are up next week. What's to do?

1. Wait for them to update the calendar tomorrow?

2. Go there without an appointment?

3. Don't even try, better go on a visa run?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When facing an expiring 60-day visa in Thailand, you have several options: 1) Visit immigration in-person, preferably early in the day, to apply for an extension, although be prepared for long wait times. 2) Consider a border run to a neighboring country like Cambodia or Laos for a short trip, which may grant you a new entry stamp for another 60 days upon returning. 3) Check for available appointment slots if you prefer to extend your visa ahead of time.

Thanks all. I was lucky and on re-login found a single, newly opened appointment option exactly on the day my visa expires.

I suggest you do a border run, stay in Cambodia or Laos for a holiday, 1-2 weeks. Luang Prabang or Siem Reap. Why bother with the 30-days extension for 1900.- Baht? When you re-enter Thailand visa-exempt, they will stamp you in for another 60 days

Just walk in. Get there as early as possible. Be prepared to wait 7-8 hours for your ticket number to be called.

Immigration closed 27th as posted in their calendar. You can get your extension before the closure if you plan it, if not you're in the post-holiday chaos.

because most tourists don‘t know that the extension starts after the 60 days. Most think they loose days if they extend to soon 😉
