TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew your annual marriage-based visa while your Thai husband is hospitalized, obtain a medical certificate from his doctor stating that he is unfit to travel. Additionally, take a photo of him in the hospital along with the necessary documents for the visa extension and submit them at the Chaeng Wattana Immigration Office. Some users mentioned that extensions can be granted under medical circumstances, with past experiences indicating a possible short-term extension before a full one-year renewal.

medical extensions can be issued for no more than 90 days, and the doctor note has to say how long before the person can go to immigrations otherwise they'll just get 30 days

IF your Thai husband is in the hospital, have his doctor provide you a medical certificate that says your husband is in the hospital recovering from Surgery and is not fit to Travel.

The hospital international department can assist you with the doctors medical certificate.

Take photo of husband in the hospital bed.

Take it with all other requirements for the one year extension of stay as Married to Thai to CW Chaengewattana Immigration Office in Bangkok and apply.
