Has anyone investigated how you renew your retirement visa or check in if you are mentally or physically disabled? I live in Bangkok. I understand a will or poa or living will etc. helps. If you know anyone who has experienced this, that would be valuable. Please only serious responses.

Paul Walker the difference is not getting harassed by the police while traveling with cannabis.

He's looking for a shop that's runs medically and offers the patient a medical licence. The way the government says it should be done. Yet is seems nobody is doing it via the official medical cannabis route. I get it, I would also want to be doing things legally. Try a hospital that has a medical cannabis is department, like a government hospital.

Naja Siamensis i remember the early days with Prop 215 medical cannabis in California. I would have to drive four hours to the nearest doctor and the recommendation cost $200 for 6 months. I don't mind jumping through a few hoops, it just sucks when the hoops are 50 kilometers away.

Ron Stivers for sure. But I remember the days in Thailand around covid when you could get a liscence from the local public hospital to legally have weed for medical reasons. While it was still technically illegal.

Simon Lomas actually not. I'm in a university suburb outside bangkok that one year ago had a dozen shops operating, now I can't find one still selling. They're still showing up online on maps, but in reality no longer selling cannabis, just glassware or papers. Sad.

Scott Litton of course I did. All the shops still listed in my area are no longer selling. And I can't find the Thai database of licensed shops either. Guess it's go to Bangkok if I want a script.

Ron Stivers I live in yasothon and there are 3 operating, going to Pattaya it's still wide open. The local places usually have to pay the cops like karaoke and the cops have bills to pay sooooo, might try online out of Chang mai, best is to go to a local taxi guy they have their ears to the street

I had no problem whatsoever locating and buying from a shop in Rangsit area near Future Park. No certificate required and I could buy what I liked. Your question is a bit difficult to answer when you don’t give an exact location.

John Middleton i'm specifically looking for a shop that can issue a medical certificate. Yes finding cannabis is not hard, i'm looking for that nice piece of paper.

Ron Stivers I get you. I would have been happier to be issued a certificate too. If questioned about use or possession, a certificate would be a nice fall back position.
