I am at Korat immigration, work permit cancelled .  Trying to cancel extension of stay . And pay 1900 for 7 days  my extension of stay expires March 31 ,2020

They say if cancel extension ,have to leave today.  Can not pay 1,900 baht

I understand you do not like to travel, even when Korat is not that far from the border. BUT you forget one thing:

Application is NOT approved and applicant has to leave the country before ../../.. ,most of the time 7 days later is NOT an Extension.

It is pack your bags and LEAVE. Not relax and visit Bangkok next week and use this stay to get a new Visa.

As said before, cancel your Extension and leave the country.

You should have cancel in advance to avoid getting in this situation.

Leave Thialand before 23:59 tonight whatever way, prepare your documentation/information about receiving Thai Elite (possibly it COULD make the entry easier if you fly), come back on visa exempt/ visa waiver/VoA whatever entry available for you today or later.

Did you cancel your Work Permit today? It is a leniency of the Immigration Office to accept your incorrect application, take the 1.900 Fee and stamp your passport application not approved and give you 7 days to leave the country.

Be aware that you think yo still have a stamp in your passport with Extension of Stay permitted up to 31 Mar 2020 but this become invalid the day you stopped working.
