Hello,

I have non-B Visa (working here). If I leave Thailand for one month, and then things change and I don't come back to Thailand. Will my company be able to cancel my Work permit and My extension of stay ? (without me being here)? If not, what will happen?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you leave Thailand and do not return, your company can cancel your work permit, but they are unable to cancel your extension of stay since it is tied to your passport. Even if your work permit is voided upon cancellation, the extension remains until you cancel it in person. Failing to cancel your extension in a timely manner could result in a fine of up to 20,000 baht.

Your company can cancel your work permit, but they cannot cancel your extension of stay. That's in your passport that will be with you, and even though it will be voided if your work permit is cancelled, that's not the same thing as you going to the immigration office to cancel it. Until it's cancelled you cannot get another long term extension in Thailand, and you might be fined 20,000 baht for failing to cancel it in a timely manner.

Again, were you on a Non -B Visa or an extension of stay when you left the country?

Non B will cancel when it expires, an extension of stay is different and you would need to physically go to immigration and cancel it yoursefl

Did you bring them your cancelled work permit and the company letter with the last date of work? You need both of those to cancel your extension.
