Do I need to cancel my work permit extension before applying for a 60-day COVID extension in Thailand?
Hi all, I have an extension of stay based on work permit until January 30 (this Saturday). I want to apply for the 60-day covid extension before Friday. Will I be able to go to immigration this week and just do this, or do I have to cancel the work permit early before I can apply? Thanks in advance for any help 🙏

Just to clarify one thing: Can I just cancel the extension of stay based on employment at the immigration office, then get back in the queue and apply for the covid extension? Or will I need to go to the labor department to cancel the work permit before going to immigration? Benjamin ******

You can not work on an Extension of Stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19, so you will have to cancel your work permit as well. Benjamin ********
