TLDR : Answer Summary
A user at Jomtien Immigration expressed concern about their visa stamp expiring the next day and not being able to obtain a COVID extension due to the queue finishing for that day. Advice from the community clarified that the COVID extension has been recently extended to July 29th, and emphasized that if a visa or permit expires on a weekend or holiday, visiting the immigration office the following business day typically does not result in overstay fines. However, the individual will receive a stamp indicating that the overstay fine is waived due to the office being closed.
IF you are on an entry or extension of stay stamp that expires when the immigration office is closed (weekend or holiday) AND you go to immigrations the very next day they are open you will NOT be fined for overstay and can get your extension like normal
BUT
You will get an overstay stamp in your passport that says "overstay fine waived due to closure" :)
