I’m admitted to stay on a tourist visa till 25 January 2020 (a Saturday). I was going to go to immigration today, but I’m sick, and have to travel to a different island for it.
Can I extend my visa first thing on Monday, or will that be overstay? I don’t want an overstay, or anything bad.
Thank you !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about potentially overstaying their tourist visa, which is valid until January 25, 2020, as they are unable to extend it due to illness. According to community responses, the user can extend their visa on Monday, and since the immigration office is closed on weekends, the overstay fine will be waived, although they will receive a stamp noting the days of overstay.
You can apply extension on Monday if you make it to be at immigration office. Due to during office is closed, the overstay fine will be waived, paying application fee only, still you got stamped mentioned you are xx days overstay.
You shouldn't have waited till the last day. You could have extended it any time last week without loss of time on your visa. Now, the above posters are both right. You can extend it without a fine on Monday, but you'll be on overstay two days so lay low. You will probably get a stamp in your passport too.
