Hi guys not sure if this is alraady being asked.. sorry .

What happens if someone have to go to immigration to get covid extension but on those days they cannot go because of quarantine due to covid?

Do they need to pay overstay? Do they understand the situation and can go when it's finished the quarantine or how does it work?

Please if anyone know would be helpful

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you're in quarantine due to COVID-19 and can't extend your visa in time, you will likely incur a fine of 500 baht per day for overstaying. Unfortunately, there are typically no exceptions for quarantine situations, so it may be advisable to have a friend or agent handle the visa extension for you if possible. Be aware that overstaying can negatively impact future immigration requests.

If you do not extend before expiry you will most certainly be fined 500 baht per day overstay. There are no exceptions. You may have to engage a friend or an agent to do it for you. Keep in mind going onto overstay gives immigration every reason to refuse further extensions as you've already signed a declaration stating you accept this condition

so can a friend go with the passport of the other person?

Manuel Miele. You would need power of attorney citing the reasons why the applicant cannot attend. Contact the relevant immigration office to see if there's anything else they would need
