TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about their visa expiring tomorrow and is unable to reach the immigration office today, which is necessary to renew their visa. They ask if it’s acceptable to go on Monday instead, considering the office will be closed on the expiration day. Comments advise that while the overstay fine may not be charged if the office is closed, an overstay stamp may still be issued. Additionally, it's recommended to visit the office today if possible, and if going on Monday, to arrive before 15:30 and have all required documentation ready.

and on that note I believe the O/P (who managed to make it out of their country and all the way to thailand on their own :P) now knows more than enough to get to the immigration office today if they can OR at least on Monday for their extension.

Oh, and be sure to get there before 15:30 with all the correct documentation. They stop issuing queue numbers at 15:30.

And they'll be busy on Monday.

Better to go today for sure.

If you go on Monday, your overstay fine will be waived, but you will still get overstay stamp.
