What should I do if my Thailand Workation DTV visa application is stuck on 'Pending Document Check'?

Hello. everyone.

I’m currently in Hanoi to apply for the Workation DTV.

I applied for the e-Visa on Monday the 28th, but the status is still stuck on “Pending Document Check”

For your reference, our previous visa was officially canceled as of today. Could that be the reason for the delay?

The lack of progress is making me anxious — I really need to return to Thailand soon.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

What previous visa was cancelled? Do you mean an extension of stay as visas can't be cancelled, and extensions of stay can't be cancelled without your passport. If it was an extension of stay you may need to cancel it when you return to Thailand depending on the reason for the extension

Monday was a Thai holiday, so it literally has only been two business days

Some of my friends who applied in Hanoi said their status changed to “pending” either on the same day or the next day after applying. But mine stayed in “checking” for a while, so I was getting worried. Today, it finally changed to “pending.” Thanks for the update. I’ll leave a comment once the visa gets approved.

Processing DTV's are not the only work the Embassy has to do! 🙂 🙂 You are applying for Workaytion - work remotely from Hanoi while you are waiting

My wife's DTV just went to Pending Approval today. She applied on the 26th at Hanoi.

You've only been waiting for a few days. I waited for a month to get my visa. Don't worry.
