Can I apply for a Thai visa in-person while my eVisa application is still active?

Any experience with applying at a in-person-consulate (or even eVisa) while an eVisa application is still in progress? I'm at a point with my eVisa application where I can't supply certain documents and I can't find a cancellation option online. Can I just leave it open or try to contact the consulate to cancel it first?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the procedure for applying for a Thai eVisa while another application is still pending. They are unable to provide certain required documents and are seeking advice on whether they can leave the application open or if they need to contact the consulate to cancel it. Comments from other users suggest that applications may be automatically canceled after 14 days of inactivity and caution that fees may not be refunded if the application is canceled.

I am not sure this is the answer you are seeking. If you have started the online application but decided you don't want to proceed and cancel it, the system will automatically remove/delete incomplete application after 14 days. See screenshot below.

This is before they are submitted I think?

Yes, before the final step where you hit "submit" and pay.

What documents do they want that you cant supply?

I'll share later when I have a visa, because I haven't seen this case online so far. Basically remote work documents (also lots of others like a long period of financial statements that I have) when I specifically went the soft power route.

Anonymous participant have you signed up for and paid for something that qualifies for soft power?

Sure, it also got accepted without questions about it, that isn't the issue.

Anonymous participant did you apply via LA consulate? Seems to be that that consulate asks for incorrect things like that

No, a European embassy

Good luck. I would assume that if you don't provide the info requested and cancel your application, your application fee would not be returned.

Yes, of course. It's been going on for so long and I've wasted so much time, might as well just fly to Jakarta now and get it done in days.
