Applied 90 day non O yesterday...what is next step?

My application for the above non O Visa was accepted yesterday Bangkok immigration. they said I had all the documents required and accepted my 2000 B and then on the receipt stamped July 31st. See receipt image...

I think she explained that I should come back on July 31st, and I don't understand anything additional other than she might have said my passport might be stamped with the 90 day non O Visa at that time ( they let me leave with my passport yesterday). She seemed to imply that I would just bring my passport to Bangkok immigration and no other documents July 31st.

I just want to be sure that I bring the right documents and understand what is going on on July 31st... any comments would be appreciated.

A quick Google search did not answer my question.

TLDR : Answer Summary
After applying for your 90-day Non-O Visa and receiving acceptance at Bangkok immigration, you need to return on July 31st to get your visa stamped in your passport. It’s important to bring your receipt and passport. Only the receipt and your passport are required; no additional documents are necessary at this stage. The process should be quick, taking about 10-15 minutes, as your application should be approved if there were no issues during submission.

The 800K only needs to be in the account for 60 days on your first yearly extension so you're fine "seasoning wise".

When you have 45 days or less left on that new 90 day stamp you will get on the 31st, you will need to go to the bank and get another letter stating you hold the account the balance is xxx baht etc BUT there is no need to prove that the funds originated from overseas. The bank knows the letter they need to write for you.

You also need to update your bank book on the date you apply for your yearly extension so that it shows the balance on that day.

okay got it thanks again. So it sounds like the answer is yes I can travel ... I purchase a single re- entry stamp at BKK before I leave and because my 30-day extension goes until August 9, I can exit and just we enter on that 30 day extension without a problem before July 31st.

@Brad ******
if you're on a 30 day extension now, you can't have your current stamp cancel,

You aren't on ANYTHING to do with the 90 day Non-O visa until they ink it into your passport :) (even though they're gonna back date it from the date you applied ;) for it) .

So that means when you leave you'd need to get a re-entry permit to get stamped back in for the same expiration date you have now.

I tried to send an image of my 30-day extension... But it looks like it says extension of stay permitted up to 8 August 2018... Signed immigration officer date 26th June 2018

okay good point... So even though the clock is ticking on my 90 day Visa the stamp in effect right now would be my 30 day extension?

They put the "contact the immigration office for a re-entry permit" stamp on your receipt so it must have been a single entry tourist visa or a 30 day visa exempt entry.

You definitely NEED a re-entry permit if you're gonna leave and come back between now and the 31st. You have to keep the current entry stamp you applied for this Non-O visa on 'alive' (meaning you can't leave without a re-entry permit and come back in on a new 30 day visa exempt entry). So definitely get a single re-entry permit when you fly out. AND make sure you're back by the 31st to go get your new 90 day stamp and Non-O visa inked in ;) .

@Brad ******
and what type of entry entry are you currently on here?

you have clarified everything and thanks but the only thing I'm not sure about I realized this morning is... Am I prevented from traveling out of the country from now until July 31st when I receive my 90 day non o Visa at Bkk C-wat C-1...I would like to fly to Manila in the next week or two but I'm not sure if I show up at Bkk airport and try to buy a single or multi reentry permit whether they will give me the permit and where they will put it since I don't yet have the 90-day stamp in my passport.

Ok... I have two weeks to figure out whether I want to use a few single entries or a multiple reentry permit. Good point.

@Brad ******
remember that ANY re-entry permit you get while you're on the 90 day stamp from that new Non-O visa will only be good until that 90 day stamp expires.

Nice clarification thanks again

Based on your comment then it looks like the 90-days end about Oct 11, so it looks like I can hit up the bank for the letter and shoot up to Cwat Bangkok immigration on August 30th or 31st. Thanks for the input... Now I can put some dates on my calendar and plan any travel around that ( which reminds me I am might as well spend some more money for a multi-entry permit on July 31st).

Looking ahead to the extension, if I remember reading right, the 90 Visa and stamp will start a new clock on July 31st. Only until 45 days before that 90-day clock expires, am I able to go into immigration to apply for the one-year extension based on being over 50. So on around September 15th.

By then my 800 k B deposit will have seasoned 75 days. Do I have it right that at the extension around September 15th at immigration I will just have to bring my Visa and my bank book showing at least 60 days seasoning of the required amount. In other words, can anyone confirm that I do not have to go to Bangkok Bank all over again to get the guaranteed letter and the proof of foreign currency transfer.

The 90 day stamp you're going to get will be dated from the date you applied for the visa. So when you go get it inked in you will have used 14 days of that 90 day stamp already :)

Okay now I understand what the receipt was

Looks like from that receipt you got it out at Chaengwattana Immigration's in section C-1.

On the 31st just go to the queue counter, get a queue number for section C-1, but when you go over there don't wait for it to be called.

Just go to one of the people at the desks and show them the receipt. Give them your passport and sit down. They'll ink the visa into your passport. It takes about 10-15 minutes at most

Wow...great tip, thanks.

Just so you know I have NEVER ever seen someone who had their paperwork accepted and paid the 2000baht fee so their application went under consideration be denied a visa when they went back after the 14 days.

If they took your application your gonna get the visa.
Tod *********
It's stamped on your receipt "Results 31 Jul 2018" ;)

That means on tuesday the 31st you take that receipt and your passport and go back to the immigration office. They'll stamp the 90 day Non-O visa into your passport and immediately stamp a USED stamp on it and then stamp you with a new 90 day "admitted until" stamp.
