Hi, my daughter is on an ED non-O visa with an extension of stay that expires Nov 2023. She has a multiple entry re-entry permit that expires the same time.
She entered Suvarnabhumi today and was stamped in with 45 days’ stay instead of the normal stay until Nov 2023.
I think I remember from previous posts that she has to abide by the stamp date, right? If so we’ll deal with it, but I just wanted to double check.
Thanks in advance.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses a situation where a daughter on an ED Non-O visa with an extension was stamped for only 45 days instead of until November 2023. Community responses confirm that the incorrect stamp should be corrected, and it is the visa holder's responsibility to check the stamp before leaving passport control. Correcting the stamp can usually be done at the airport where the person entered.
