Advise needed.

My friend got non b working visa applied and secured from her country before coming here. Arrived in Phuket airport 5 days ago and just found out today to that the immigration stamped her 45 days visa on arrival.

Anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

A user is seeking advice on how to fix a mistake made at Phuket airport where her friend, who holds a non-B working visa, was mistakenly stamped with a 45-day visa on arrival. Commenters suggest that she should return to the airport or the main immigration office to get the stamp corrected. There is also advice on ensuring that entry stamps are checked thoroughly at immigration to avoid such issues.

Did she show the visa, or say "work visa" at immigration when entering?

It's not that "immigration stamped her 45 days visa," it's that she didn't say anything to the immigration officer. Immigration officers can't look at every page of everyone's passport.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!! CHECK your entry stamp BEFORE you walk away from passport control. 🙂 This happens more times than you'd imagine.

She goes back to the airport OR to the main immigration office at Phuket and gets the stamp corrected.

yep that's an unused Non_B single entry visa

She should go back to the airport or to the immigration office at Phuket

Either place can correct the stamp

thanks for your response. No she didn’t apply online, she got a non b stamped on here passport in her country. From Philippines if that matters.

So she just needs to go there and contact immigration office in airport and they will correct it for her?

Phuket town immigration said they cannot do anything.
