Regarding time for COE processing - I'm unable to get my new US passport until 8 days prior to my departure on 11 November (long story). Is it possible to process a COE in that short amount of time either on my own, or using an agent? It appears that they are asking for 15 days in advance of travel.

Anyone have an agent to recommend for assistance with a speedy COE? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of processing a Certificate of Entry (COE) for Thailand with only 8 days remaining before departure, given they can only obtain their new US passport shortly beforehand. Commenters provide varying insights, suggesting that the processing time can vary by embassy, with some having successfully completed COE applications in as little as six days. They note that the DC embassy was processing approvals rapidly last month, indicating that while it may be tight, it’s potentially feasible to obtain the COE in time.

The DC embassy was processing pre-approval and final approval in 1 day each last month. They do priority based on flight date. You will probably be fine.

Took me about six days would have been four if no disagreement about insurance. Not sure how an agent would make it any quicker as everything is done online.

If anything to go by for previous announcements will be last week of October for changes in November. It may affect time in hotels, covid tests insurance nobody knows exactly.

That will give you plenty of time to organise correct paperwork to submit on the 3rd ? When you get your passport back

i dont think it relevant but i came into sandbox middle of september. I have a Non O visa which expires october 24th so just 5 week so i purchased 2 month insurance.

Singapore embassy were insisting that non O have 1 years worth of covid insurance.

So we had two day of e mails going back and for, i changed COE to visa exempt then they told me ok please change back to non O. Blah blah

It varies by Embassy but it should be fine if all you need is the CofE.
