What should I do if I have a 90-day visa but only a 30-day stamp in my passport after arriving in Thailand?

Greeting!

I arrived to Thailand on the 3โ€™rd of January.

I applied for a 90 days visa before I left, but the Emissary in Denmark was delayed, so I received my visa AFTER I arrived in Thailand. That means that the stamp in my passport is a 30 day stamp.

The dilemma is now, that I have a visa for 90 days, but only a 30 day stamp in my passport.

I have written to the embassy in Copenhagen for advice on how to proceed, but I thought why not ask here also ๐Ÿ˜Š

Any idea about what my next step should be?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user arrived in Thailand with a 90-day visa issued after departure, but received only a 30-day entry stamp upon arrival. They are seeking advice on how to address this issue, considering their current position in the country and the need to align the visa with their entry details.

You are in Thailand. If you want to use this visa the only option is leave Thailand and come back to use it on entry.

ahh.. That sucks ๐Ÿ™‚

I guess the stamp in the passport is the ruling factor then.

My first question is, how long do you want to stay in Thailand?

My thought was to stay till the end of Feb.

My opinion: Apply for a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism at the local immigration office. It'll let you stay until March 3rd, if my calculations are correct, and forget about the Single Entry Tourist Visa.
