What should I do if I can't visit Immigration before my Thai visa expires due to Covid quarantine?

Is ANYONE having luck with facilitating this? I have seen the pinned conversation on this topic at the top of the group. I'm trying to see if there is anyone who ACTUALLY was able to achieve this outcome. I've already talked with my insurance agent, the Concierge at my condo building and my local hospital - no luck getting it done BEFORE my visa expires on March 1st.

My [3x renewed STV/2x renewed Covid extension] visa expires March 1 and I got Covid and must quarantine until March 4th. Had PCR test done by nurse who came to my condo. Have not been able to arrange for Immigration notification/extension BEFORE my visa expires. [Before catching Covid, I was planning to go to Immigration this week for final Covid visa extension.]

Governmental Health agency that I report to says I will get medical certificate at THE END. No one is able to address getting someone to go to Immigration on my behalf BEFORE my visa expires.

I have AXA insurance, but, as of a February 15th rule change, they're not covering Covid unless I'm hospitalized. And I won't be hospitalized unless I'm showing moderate symptoms. So, there's no visa extension coverage through insurance (just spoke with my agent).

Any resources I'm missing?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is facing challenges in extending their STV visa due to being quarantined with Covid while their visa expires on March 1. They have consulted with their insurance agent, condo concierge, and local hospital without success in facilitating an Immigration notification or extension before the expiration. The insurance does not cover extensions unless hospitalized, and they seek resources or contacts to assist them in this situation. Comments provide possible solutions, emphasizing the importance of working with the treating hospital and possible actions to take before going into overstayed status.

and I think we're done on this one

There is NO procedure in place that deals with people who catch covid, quarantine/self isolate and run onto overstay during that time. There are three possible outcomes,

1 - have the hospital or who ever is treating them contact the immigration office BEFORE you run on overstay, get a contact name/rank that says it's okay to come right after you've out of quarantine (and get the next extension which in some cases waives the overstay fines)

2 - have someone go on your behalf with power of attorney, documentation from the treating doc/hospital to apply for the covid extension for you

3 - run on overstay, when you're out of quarantine, GO pay the overstay and then get the extension.

those are the only 3 scenarios I know of

Thanks for your input. I, or people on my behalf (insurance agent, condo concierge, etc.), have been in contact with my quarantining hospital as well as several others and none have been able to help with this. BNH will do it - IF I've been admitted AND I pay 7,500THB.

Again, I'm checking to see if anyone who has NOT been admitted to a hospital for Covid quarantine HAD SUCCESS in getting this done IN REALITY on their behalf. If so, please let me know hospital/contacts. Thanks!

If your current extension expires tomorrow you'll also need to get it sorted by tomorrow or the option of a medical extension will disappear and you go on overstay

The Hospital who told you to go into quarantine due to covid is the place to ask, not your landlord, not your insurance agency, not the nurse working for your condo complex.
