Hi, I applied in Hanoi through e visa this morning and they requested additional documents this evening. But I don’t understand what they’re asking for or how to ask them for clarification. Anybody have any ideas? Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a Thai e-visa but was asked for additional documents they do not understand. Comments suggest that the authorities might be requesting proof of employment or business registration. Options include providing a work contract, a letter from an employer, or evidence of income, such as a tax return or website for freelancers.
If you have an employer they want a contract that shows you have the right to work remotely from Thailand. If you have your own company the registration details. Otherwise you could show them a tax return that shows you pay tax in your home country.
Just proof of employment.. A letter or contract from someone running a business that you know.. Or a website if you're a digital nomad, showing you're work... Something to prove you have an income I guess!!
Thanks for your answer! I think it’s business registration as others have mentioned as I provided them the employment contract that says i can work remotely.
I think there are 3 options. 1. Your are employed by an employer with an employent contract. 2 You own a company and you write a letter as owner saying you can work remotely. I know a couple of people who have done this. 3 You are a freelancer working for multiple clients. You show your portfolio of this work ie Website, online academy Upwork portfolio etc
