TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on the best timing to extend a visa exempt stamp, which expires on June 2nd, falling on a Sunday, with the next day being a public holiday. Commenters suggest applying before the holiday to avoid the risk of overstaying or experiencing delays on busy days, while noting that extensions can also be processed on the first working day following an office closure.
You can do your extension anywhere within the last week, so personally I would have gone the 31th although you can get your extension the first working day after the immigration has been closed as well.
Immigration is going to be very busy on both Friday and Tuesday.
You have Wednesday(tomorrow) and Thursday to get it done before that's a concern.
If you go before the holiday you won't be fined or get an overstay stamp. If you go on Tuesday then you'll receive an overstay stamp but no fine and the stamp will say that the office was closed so the fine was waived.
