Can anybody tell me what is the problem with KLM they are doing my head in changed 2 of my flights 1 outbound from Amsterdam to Bangkok this is ok but on returning they have cancelled my transit to norwich at 9am and put me on a flight at 4.30pm which means a 10 hour wait in airport. This is the first and last flight with them normally fly with Emirates from Stansted but they are not currently using this route 😡😡😡

I had the same problem...but the put me on a flight the next day...so meaning I had to wait in airport in France for 1 whole day....I sent the message via WhatsApp...and got my flights changed ✈

Cathay Pacific is doing the same thing. I don’t think Cathay is going to be around for very much longer.

This is a awkward time to travel. It could be a lot worse!

Curious, did you think everything is back to normal?

I booked Cardiff-Ams-Bkk. Changed my return Ams-Cardiff from 2 hour to 10 hour layover. I have spoken to KLM and they say due to the change I can get a full refund up to 48 hours before 1st flight.

It seems they done the same to you I am not looking to cancel or get a refund because it's all just too much hassle flying on the 6th dec so no time to change everything PCR test booked before I leave .oh well getting there is the main thing

Our Thai air flights for March have been changed 3 times in the last week. Not much we can do, although if they change by more than a certain number of hours you are entitled to refund? That’s if you really don’t want a flight anymore!

I wouldn't worry much about March, that is many months away.

@Paul ******
exactly. They only change them by a couple of hours or so each time. It’s not a problem. It is what it is.

facebook them via messenger as they changed your flight you can change the dates free now for that flight or log onto my trip and you can request a full refund, they changed my inbound flight so it was 2 hours earlier from heathrow -BKK normally with any other airline as they changed this they will allow you to change the outbought from back home free if needed but they asked for 190£

I've had my flights with Singapore Airlines changed, got a refund, went with Qatar, they changed so have now gone with Emirates and hoping for the best. Flight from Gatwick.

Singapore Airlines were great from Australia. No schedule changes for my trip to BKK despite very low passenger numbers on most of the flights.

yeah they are normally great, but they changed my connecting return flight at Changi to London, it was leaving before I'd even got on the plane at Phuket. Had no option but to cancel

The problem that has made me angry is not that they have changed it it's the short notice because as you know going to Thailand is not that easy with PCR test 72 hours before and hotel SHA booking airport pick up if they told me 3 or 4 weeks ago could have cancelled and gone with someone else and rearranged all my plans but a week before you fly it's not great

at least Thailand 🇹🇭 will be nice and warm. I'm looking forward to flying over to my condo In huahin shortly after new years. Be safe! Yotel has a nice place inside the terminal at schiphol to sleep in, cabins like on a cruise ship, could be worth resting in. 😀

It is but I fly on the 6th dec and norwich is only 45 min from home now wishing I had booked Emirates or thai but I was trying to avoid the track to london and back
Mac ******
@Neville ******
I hope so lol so frustrating isn't it! Can't you get a refund and just go with Emirates from Gatwick? Yours sound like a lot of hassle?
Janne ***********
Unfortunately airlines sometimes have to make schedule changes and during these trying times more so than normal. Request a return for a different day when the morning connection will operate, could even be the following day.

Neville Frost. That's the Royal Dutch Airline for you. I leave from Amsterdam every time I go to Thailand. But never with KLM. Not even for free. Hope it will not give you too much problems!!

I understand everything is difficult at the moment but surely it would be better to fly with a full plane and then stop selling tickets for morning flights .have already looked into other days there is nothing they have scratched all morning flights to norwich

@Neville ******
copy I understand. I just recently retired after 35years with Delta so I know your disappointment when this happens. Hopefully things will get better soon that klm can put all their schedules back to normal, which use to be 930am, 430pm and 830pm daily. Enjoy your trip anyway! Be safe!
