TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers shared mixed experiences flying with KLM from the UK to Bangkok (BKK). Key points include the necessity of having the Thai Pass and related documents for entry, the challenges of negative COVID tests, and varying opinions on the quality of KLM's service compared to other airlines like Air France, Emirates, and Qatar Airways. While some had no issues and praised the service, others recounted poor experiences, particularly regarding customer service, food quality, and handling flight changes or cancellations. Overall, the consensus is to carefully consider options and personal preferences when choosing an airline.

I flew back Air France to Bangkok, and was surprised by the excellent service and food. KLM to UK was quite the opposite. A succession of bad flights with KLM, but no more. I won’t go near them. If you want stuck up and condescending, add rude and you have KLM

I've flown the Bangkok Amsterdam route so many times, one way Air France the other way KLM and my experience is the exact opposite of yours. I love the Dutch and I would regularly sit in the back having a drink and a laugh with the cabin crew. The French on the other hand were unapproachable.

ok. Everyone has different experiences, and requirements from a flight. I flew back to BKK in December with AF and the staff were very friendly and attentive

KLM is a subsidiary of Air France. Rescued by Air France from bankruptcy

there would be no KLM if it were not for AF. This is the standard Dutch response when anyone criticises KLM

OK till you want to change the dates on the flight they tell you its free to change till you try then they hit you with another £200.00 because they say can't find your class off seat on them dates also charge extra for baggage, the baggage allowance is only 20 kilos it looks like a cheap ticket till you add on all the extras kid, in my opinion shit airline better off paying the extra & using someone like Emirates or Qatar Airways or etihad all good airlines kid.
