What should I consider when applying for a METV to Thailand as a German citizen?

Hello guys, I'm applying for a METV at the moment and came across a few questions that I'm unsure of. Any help is super much appreciated!

1. If I ever applied for a Thai Visa? (1st screenshot) I travelled to Thailand before on Visa exemption and got an extension of my exemption in February this year. Is the Extension basically a Visa or do I stay with "no", I never applied for a Visa?

2. Accomodation Type Question: I booked Air bnbs. Would you classify them as Guest Houses or Private Property under this question? (Screenshot 2)

3. I always read in this group that I have to insert a photo of me holding my passport, but they aren't asking in the application form for that – was this old information or maybe different for different nationalities or did I just oversee sth.?

I'm a German citizen referring to the Thai Embassy in Berlin

Thanks a lot in advance, I really appreciate this group!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a METV and has specific questions about their previous visa history, accommodation type for their application, and documentation requirements. They seek clarification regarding whether a visa exemption counts as a visa, how to classify Airbnb accommodations, and the necessity of including a photo holding their passport in the application. Comments from the community provide insights confirming that visa exemptions do not count as visas, classify Airbnb bookings accordingly, and suggest consulting the embassy for any specific requirements.

im on a METV from NZ. Regarding the accommodation part with Airbnb you should email your embassy to ask if that is fine with them. Thats what I did. The response I had was that Airbnb booking was fine but I needed booking for the full time for my first entry ie until my first flight out at around 60 days. If not, then you could do some Agoda bookings that are able to be cancelled. Remember you can change your plans after getting the visa

2) if a condo it's a private property, if it's an apartment then guest house, similar to a hotel

1. no, because you didn't apply for an actual visa ever before. Exemption is not a visa.

3. on the actual visa website you don't have to include this in the required docs as far as I know. Was also looking into this last week. But later they will come back with some extra requirements if needed by mail. Had this with a SETV.

sure, will do. I need it for the 20th of September and want to submit all docs this weekend. I’m a bit nervous as in to whether they will grant it in time but fingers crossed🤞

yes, Dutch embassy website says I have to include a travel plan. On the Thai visa website there is nowhere to add this, ... but I am prepared if they will ask me later and think they do.
