So I submitted my STV visa application to the website in pic #1.
After submitting the application online I sent copies of my passport pic, 2 recent photos, asq hotel, Airbnb for 75 days, declaration, medical sheet(T8 I think), medical issuance, and background check by mail.
The embassy in Washington DC received my mail at 2pm and I got an email at 4pm in pics #2 and #3.
Questions?
1. I already submitted my insurance docs but it says to resubmit. Did I need to sign any of the insurance forms?
2. It asks for bank statements. I thought that was no longer needed.
3. Is medical certificate the T8 form? Do I need to see a doctor to get it signed or can I fill it out myself?
4. Can I stay at an Airbnb after quarantine or does it have to be a hotel?
5. It says to send in 2 passport sized photos. Can I be copies or does it have to be the actual photo?
6. Where do I get a copy of the visa application? I filled one out online but I don’t know where to print one out.
7. The email says it’s an automated message so maybe I don’t need to resubmit everything again?
8. The email says to submit everything to visa@thaiembdc.org. I tried the website but it prompts me to the Thai embassy Washington DC website and I can’t submit anything there. I don’t think it’s an email.
Sorry for all the questions. Any help would be great. Thanks for your time🤙🏾

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user submitted their STV visa application and has several questions regarding documentation requirements, including insurance forms, bank statements, medical certificates, accommodation options post-quarantine, photo submission guidelines, and visa application copies. They received an automated response from the embassy and are unsure if they need to resubmit all their documents or how to proceed with specific inquiries.
As a person with the STV, I don't recommend it, especially this late since you may not get your 1st renewal as it ends in Sept..if you coming in May or Jun then you would. You can do a TR 60 plus 30, which would be the same as stv after July and then you can switch to other visa type for long, stv you can't.
If you do want stv, it depends on the embassy.. Some are very picky.. The strict ones want you to book directly with hotel no refund and need to be the full 90 days. It's always dependent on the embassy, but I am going to guess it won't be likely with airbnb.
If you do TR, the airbnb fine and just need like 10 day booking would be fine.
