The end of November isn't far away. For those on exemption until then what is the plan if you intend on staying longer?

TLDR : Answer Summary
As the end of November approaches, those staying in Thailand under visa exemption may need to consider their options for extending their stay. Most advice suggests visiting immigration to complete the necessary form for an extension and paying the required fee. It's important to ensure you bring the exact amount, as there have been reports of not receiving change. If facing difficulties going home due to COVID-19, this process will be essential.

I'm assuming you mean those on extension, not exemption? Do what
@Dar***
has said. There's a form to complete, unable to go home due to covid. Pay your 1900 smackeroos (give them the exact amount, there's varying reports about not getting your change!)

Go to immigration, get form for extension, pay the fee and get a stamp is what I'd imagine most people are going to do.

I emailed my US embassy for an extension letter yesterday and they responded that "it is not necessary to request an embassy letter anymore..." It should be 1900 baht fee and then you get the stamp (assuming it's this easy).

it's in the other group, they put a copy of the form they have been giving out at some of the immigration offices. I'm not home yet so not looking for it right now but if you're a member there it was posted up earlier today by Tod.
