What should I do about my visa exemption expiring during the Phuket lockdown?
Hey there,
Just wanted some input. I am situated in Phuket and we are going on lock down on the 13th. I will no longe the able to leave my sub-district but my visa exemption expires the 18th. I have no yet done my first extension. Should I go extend it still? Better yet, can I even go?

Tourist visas and visa exempt entries expiring after March 26th are automatically extended to April 30th.

Stay at residence. The reason for the waiver is to prevent visits. Trust it and use it but stay aware of change.

Apparently there will be a 2-week extension during which time flights will commence operation. Once you have your flight booked you attend immigration and they will allow extension up to the date of the flight. This is for exempt/tourist visa and VOAs

Yes, here in Phuket as well Bang tao area. your visa has already been extended till April 30th. You do not need to do anything. Stay safe
