What should I do about my visa and work permit expiring during my visa run from Mae Sai to Myanmar?

Hi guys, first time doing a visa run from Mae Sai to Myanmar.

I have a question regarding the work permit and visa I have.

My Visa expires on the 31st but my Work permit ends on the 29th of March. I was planning to cancel it on the 27th of March but if cancelling my visa and wp, does it mean i have to go to the border and do a visa run immediately? I know the 7 days extension for 1900 but it's not really an option for me.

Advice from experienced teachers are welcome. Thanks!
