Hey guys! I posted on here a few weeks ago asking for advice.
Unfortunately I got the info wrong - I thought my visa expiry date was on my re-entry stamp, but it was on the visa itself (would you believe I've been here for 8 years!? ๐)
So they let me come back in on a 30-day tourist visa. I just renewed my work permit. Will this tourist visa do anything to void my work permit or cause me any problems processing the paperwork for my non-B? Really hoping I didn't screw myself with my own stupidity!
Thanks for any advice you can offer!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster mistakenly believed their visa expiry date was on their re-entry stamp instead of the visa itself, leading to their re-entry into Thailand on a 30-day tourist visa. They are concerned about whether this tourist visa will void their work permit or complicate their application for a Non-B visa.
First there is no 30 day tourist visa, so I guess you came back into Thailand without any visa and using the Visa Exempt Entry for 30 days. Working is Prohibited on a Visa Exempt stamp, even if you have the Work Permit. You can process the paper work for the Non B, apply for it and than back to work.
