What does the validity timeframe of my 90-day retirement O visa mean?

Hi all! Iโ€™m after a little bit of clarification regarding my visa. Iโ€˜m in the UK atm and applied for the 90 day retirement O visa which has just been approved. However, on the application I did I said my travel date would be 28th of October so therefore wanted 90 days from there but on the email it says visa valid from 28th of September to 28th of December. Does this mean they made a mistake or is that the window in which I have to use it and the 90 days start from the day I land back in Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The approved 90-day retirement O visa is valid for use from the date of issue until December 28th. You have until that date to enter Thailand, and upon arrival, you will be granted a stay of 90 days (with the first day counting as day one). If you have further questions regarding application costs and requirements, these can be addressed separately.

How much did it cost and what requirements were needed to get this Visa in the UK.

We are thinking of getting ours in Thailand once we have moved across.

if you're applying for the non O yourself, apparently it's much easier to do it on the official Thai e-visa website, I've heard stories of some immigration offices, making it very difficult to do the initial non O, and heard of people having to travel to Vientiane in Lao, and apply at the thai consulate there, not sure why ๐Ÿค”

I did my non o 90day marriage on line Very well set out site

If you hit a snag you can stop it will give a ref number and you can just pick up where you left off So if you realise you have a doc or photo missing no problem Just return to site when you have it

The visa is valid to use for 90 days from issue. That means you have 90 days to wing your way to Thailand to use the visa.

On arrival you will be stamped in for 90 days (actually 89 further days as day of arrival is day 1 regardless of arrival time).

thanks for confirming that mate. I did some Googling and got to the same answer just after I posted the question.
