TLDR : Answer Summary
It's possible to apply for a NON-O Retirement Visa extension with zero days left, but it is not advisable. It's recommended to apply a week in advance to accommodate any documentation issues. Typically, applications can be submitted 30 days prior, although the rules may vary by specific immigration office.

Zero days left is allowed, but not recommended. You’re best to apply a week or so in advance in case you need different documentation or such. Usually you can do 30 days prior but I don’t know Jomtiens rule. I know they can be different to lots of offices.

our VISA will expire on Oct 4th. We would apply sooner but have to go to the USA for family emergency and just returned yesterday Sept 20th. We banked with Bangkok Bank who wouldn’t Have our annual details statement ready until September 28th.

Can we submit the application today while waiting for bank statement and letter to be pickups on September 28th? And I will also do the updated bank on the book on 28th as well.

I doubt they’d let you do that but you’d really have to check with the office. Can you not do it all on the 28th?

we are going to check with IM today.

We got everything but the bank statements, letters, and updated bank book. So we have to it all on same day.

they won't give an extension without the bank paperwork so you need to wait for that then go. If you get on well with your bank they may be willing to get head office to email the statements to you which you can take into the branch for them to print out and put their stamp on

you are right. We have to wait until next Thursday to pickup bank paperwork or they will call if it’s ready sooner. The Immigration Officer said we have up until October 4th to apply. Also can apply few days but will have to pay fines at 500 baht per day. I think we’ll be OK.

Thank you both for your replies 🙏🙏🙏.
