Anyone recently been successful getting an online 60 day tourist visa, from UK Thai Embassy.

I was going ok filling the details, until I reached supporting documents requirement, there 11 in total.

Including, Travel booking confirm, picture of me holding my passport photo page, travel record for past 12 month, Proof of Thai house and Thai ID picture of owner (partner). and more.

Never had this before at the consulates, for a tourist visa.

I thought it would be easier applying for a 60 day and getting a 30 day extension over there, not the case.

Any advice much appreciated.

One more question, what is a declaration that has to be uploaded, the third item on the list.

Is it still possible to get a 'visa on arrival' and extend twice?

IF you're a passport holder from a visa on arrival country ( 1. Bhutan: Kingdom of Bhutan

2. Bulgaria : Republic of Bulgaria

3. China: People’s Republic of China

4. Cyprus: Republic of Cyprus

5. Ethiopia Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia

6. Fiji

7. Georgia

8. India

9. Kazakhstan: Republic of Kazakhstan

10. Malta

11. Mexico : Republic of Mexico

12. Nauru

13. Papua New Guinea

14. Romania

15. Russia : Russian Federation

16. Saudi Arabia:

17. Taiwan

18. Uzbekistan

19. Vanuatu )

You CAN NOT extend the visa. You *MAY* (if the immigration office is willing) to get an extension of stay denied stamp, which gives you 7 days to leave Thailand. You should apply for that on the second-to-last day if possible, because the extension of stay denied stamp begins on the day you acquire it.

I'm not looking forward to applying for the STV tbh.

it's either a 270 day STV, OR a visa on arrival (assuming you are from one of those countries), OR an 5 year elite visa.

Visa exemption is back now to 30 days and you can get one extension here.

I normally go on a Non O for ninety days twice a year,I have a house and partner there.

30 days less 7 days quarantine

plus 30 days is not great, I have not been for a year and half.

You’ve obviously declared more than maybe you should have, if they are asking for proof of Thai house/partners ID etc. Just apply for a normal 60 day tourist visa without the trimmings, and you should find the process far simpler. Either that, or 30 day visa exempt and convert to 3 month O once here.

There's more than I've mentioned, even Hotel booking confirmation.

I thought was only for COE.
