TLDR : Answer Summary
Visitors looking to obtain a 60-day tourist visa for Thailand at the Thai embassy in London should be aware that applications must be submitted online through the eVisa portal, as the embassy does not accept walk-in visa applications. It's advised to check the Thai embassy's official website for the eVisa process, where applicants can apply online and typically receive their visa within a few days.

Why not check the Thai Embassy website in your country.

DO NOT go to the embassy.
If you live in a country where the Thai embassy has adopted evisa (which the UK is) then the embassy in that country only accepts applications submitted online through the evisa portal.
They will not even let you onto the property. Everything is done online and in-person services are strictly for Thai citizens only.
