Has anyone from UK completed or started their visa process for Thailand? All embassy's are closed and it seems all visa companies don't like to reply. 🤔

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation addresses the challenges faced by UK residents trying to apply for a visa to Thailand amidst embassy closures and COVID-19 precautions. While the Thai Embassy in London has been temporarily closed for cleaning (reopening soon), applicants can still process their visas online. Users share links to official websites, provide tips on navigating the application system, and discuss their experiences of receiving visas quickly through online submissions. Despite the challenges, many successfully obtained their travel visas and are currently quarantining upon arrival.

I'm quite surprised my travel visa won't issue me a barcode until ticket is purchased, ASQ receipt, hotel receipt, insurance purchased etc What if embassy refuses my application it will be a costly application?
Just wondering if have to pay for everything before visa application can be sent for ?
Apply online, it’s easy . Took a week in for me to do it all and get passport back .

The consultants are closed but RTE London is up and running but had to close for a week for a covid clean up and the normal Thai holidays

The London embassy was due to reopen after a week's deep cleaning yesterday. Visas were still being processed online, though were anticipated to be a touch slower.

cheers, do you know where I can find this application form for applying.
Sorry I've just seen this. Just go on the Royal Thai embassy London website. Everything's on there but it's sometimes a bit hard to navigate.

The London office is closed because it had a case of covid so they are all working from home. You can still apply for your visa as it's all done online.

well they seem to be deep cleaning alot 🤣 The Hull and London branches have been closed since March as far as I understand??
Hull has been closed. The London embassy has been open throughout, other than Thai or British public holidays. There was an announcement about it closing for a deep clean a few days ago, but visa applications and certificate of entry applications would still be processed.
If the Thai embassy in London is closed it's because they're having a deep clean (pretty sure i saw someone post this notice a few days back). Think they reopen next week if that is the case as tomorrow and Friday are public holidays in Thailand.
