TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a multiple re-entry permit stamp at Suvarnabhumi airport, it can only be done on the day of your flight. It's not possible to get the stamp days in advance if you haven't purchased your ticket yet. For the re-entry permit, you need to go either to an immigration office beforehand or at the airport after you check in on the day of your departure.

okay, people READ the posts before you answer. The O/P clearly stated she is NOT flying out today, (and hasn't even bought a ticket) That means she CANNOT use the re-entry permit counters at Suvarnabhumi OR Don Mueang Airports. Those you can use on the day you fly out ONLY. There is no show up days early and buy a re-entry permit option for the airports.
So she either slogs to immigration today to get a re-entry permit (before 3:30 when they stop giving out queue numbers) OR she gets it the day of her flight after she checks in
There's NO change in getting the reentry permit at the BKK Airport... And the same for the Don Mueang airport in Bangkok on
Just show up and present your passport . And for a fee of 1000 + 200 service fee = 1,200 Thai baht you will get a single entry re-entry permit. 3,800 + 200 = 4,000 gets you the multiply entry re-entry permit.
If the re-entry permit desk is NOT manned, just ask a Thai Immigration Officer and they will open it for you.

You can get it on the day you are flying/departing Thailand.
Otherwise, get one at a Thai Immigration office near you.
