Dear Group,

Just want to double check if there’s any change in getting a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi?

Do I need to get a TM8 and photo or they can still do it on the spot?

Thank you for your kind reply in advance.

Answer summary

The process for obtaining a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi Airport remains unchanged. Travelers can obtain the permit directly at the airport by presenting their passport, with a fee of 1,200 baht for a single entry and 4,000 baht for a multiple entry permit. While it's advisable to fill out the TM8 form and have a passport photo ready in advance to avoid delays, there is a form available at the airport if needed.

That graphic doesn't mention +200 thb service fee. They usually charge you unless you have filled form and photos, AND insist that you don't need 'extra' service as you have everything ready

isn’t there a photo copy or such that they try to get the 200 bht extra fee too?

They have a form to fill there if you don't have it. But I suggest to save time you download and fill out the form and have passport photo ready BEFORE you go to airport.

You are correct...

There's NO change in getting the reentry permit at the BKK Airport... And the same for the Don Mueang airport in Bangkok on

Just show up and present your passport . And for a fee of 1000 + 200 service fee = 1,200 Thai baht you will get a single entry re-entry permit. 3,800 + 200 = 4,000 gets you the multiply entry re-entry permit.

If the re-entry permit desk is NOT manned, just ask a Thai Immigration Officer and they will open it for you.
