Hi guys, I have a question, My next renewal for a marriage visa is up on July 19th 2023, I intend to fly back to the UK on the 1st of June 2023 and return to Thailand on the 11th of July, 2023, would you advise me obtaining a re-entry stamp ?

So in reality I will only loose 8 days so is there really any need to get a re-entry that's what I need to establish, money already seasoned ?

, totally up to you. If you don't get a re-entry permit, you need to go through again from an in-country visa to a 1-year extension from scratch. This means adding a couple of visits to immigration and 2000 thb fee for an initial visa, some for preparing documents, etc.

and you must get a TM30 within 24 hours of your return

Get a re-entry permit if you plan to get another Extension of Stay otherwise you'll be starting over

Yes. If you don't have a re-entry stamp your extension is gone the day you leave and you need to start over from the beginning

You go to the immigration office that issued your extension to apply for a re-entry permit. Or you can also apply for one at the airport when you leave on the international flight. (You need to check in advance if you leave internationally from not major airports.)
