Hey everyone! I'm applying for a single entry tourist visa in my country and was asked to bring a bank statement showing sufficient funds. I recall there used to be a specific minimum for sufficient funded for a single entry, but can't find any info on that. my trip is for 2 months.
Any idea?
Thanks!:)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the minimum bank statement requirement for a single entry tourist visa to Thailand for a two-month trip. Commenters suggest that the requirement varies by country and embassy, with one mentioning that their embassy in Germany required a minimum of 500€ on a current bank statement. Other comments clarify that the requirement for a longer visa type, like a retirement visa, is different and notably higher.

whilst the OP was asking about a single entry tourist visa your answer is correct if applying for a retirement one year extension but wrong for all other extension applications.
A number of embassies have websites that don’t state an amount specifically. The just say “sufficient funds” but don’t qualify what those are. I think they generally want to see that you can support yourself in Thailand whilst there. Whether that’s 20k a month or 60k a month is anyones guess. Apply with what you have and see what they say.
