Dear Members,
I want to apply next month for a Tourist Visa in Kuala Lumpur. They need bank statement with 3 months history of transactions.
I have bank statement in EUR currency with only one transaction in the last 3 months. From 2500 eur, a have one withdrawal of 500 eur and final balance is 2000 eur.
Is this fine? Should this 2000 eur be somewhere calculated in THB in any written document or only original bank statement is fine?
By the way, in my country in South East Europe EUR is not a local currency, but I have two accounts - one with EUR and one with local currency.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on whether a bank statement showing only one transaction (withdrawal) over the last three months, totaling 2000 EUR, meets the requirements for a Tourist Visa application in Thailand. They inquire about the necessity of converting this amount to THB or if the original EUR bank statement suffices, given that EUR is not the local currency in their Southeast European country.
