Hi, my Covid extension expires March 30. Can I go earlier to apply for another extension and have it dated from March 30 or will it be dated from the time I apply? I don't want to lose a week if I go too early. I am in Bangkok.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about applying for a COVID-19 visa extension in Thailand before their current extension expires on March 30. They want to know if the new extension will have a start date of March 30 or if it will begin when they apply. A comment advises that the extension will add 60 days to the current expiration date, suggesting they should apply earlier to avoid long lines and missed appointments.

If you are now on a COVID extension the 60 days are added to your current expiration date.

If you wait til last days of this month...lines will be long ..and appointments taken. GO NOW.

Have you filed a TM30 ???
