It does say 15 months on the UK gov site for UK visa applications.

And not to be booking tickets within this time.

Hint: if get to interview stage, better fhance if flight is next day.

As of tomorrow my wife will be 6 weeks waiting since her VFS biometric appointment so, if it's 7 weeks currently, I can live with that

Took me 5-6 months with immigration attorney from the US for K1.

That’s because US immigration sucks it only works well for illegal aliens coming over the southern boarder.

My wife was quoted by my attorney 15 months for a green card

I waited 13 weeks. It’s a problem for all visa applications to the UK. Thai application are processed in New Delhi.

...VFS was set up by an Indian so guess you're correct.

Thought I read somewhere they had changed to UK but with the amount of visas they have to process, doubt it would ever get done with the government staff working from home.😏

...don't think it is anymore tbh.

VSF Global are the UK agent and scan all the relevant docs and send back to the UK.

As of the 15th July, they have stopped the priority visa application's in order to clear more of the standard visas...

The current waiting time is 7 weeks rather than 3 to process a standard visitor visa.

It states at the top of the application form that this is due to them giving priority to the Ukrainian applications.

But where ever the place it's still a long time.
