Has anyone recently been approved for a visa through the Frankfurt Consulate?
Has anyone been approved from Frankfurt Consulate in the last few weeks? I feel like they shut down everything and no one is working there anymore.
Summary so far
Users report delays and issues with visa applications at the Frankfurt Thai Consulate. Experiences shared include a change in application status to 'Pending approval' only to revert back to 'Document check.' Some individuals have reported significantly longer waiting periods, with one person noting a 4-month delay and others facing rejections without explanation. A suggestion was made to apply for a tourist visa and travel to another Asian country for visa processing.

I asked in this group about the embassy in Frankfurt a month ago. The answer where that people waited min month or more, one guy even 4 months. Also a few people got rejected from Frankfurt embassy with any further notice why. I decided to go again with the tourist visa and then fly form here to any other Asien country to apply for it .. good luck 🍀

Frankfurt has been a drag, compared to the other stories and processing times shared here. I have been waiting for a longer time now as well

It changed to Pending approval on 19 but changed back to document check again 1 hour later.

OPAnonymous participant 736 I guess the change is normal. Mine also changed back few hours after I send them my additional docs

I already provided the additional docs 1 day after my initial submission. For now on, it’s just waiting. It’s probably done after my arrival date…

OPAnonymous participant 736 when exactly did you apply?

Already. Just one day after. I immediately submitted all additional docs. Waiting for almost 5 weeks now.

OPAnonymous participant 736 when did you apply and did you send them extra documents yet?

Anonymer Teilnehmer i think they don't care about the arrival.
I went to pending approval yesterday. I applied October 1st and uploaded further documents on 15th October.

i think they do care about the arrival date. Your application was in pending document check for a month and it just moved to the next step. This is hopefully a good sign.Julia *********
Anonymer Teilnehmer No only pending approval since yesterday. Means nothing... And can also take weeks with this status...

27th November, but talked to people where the arrival date already was and still no update. That's why I think they just process chronological with document upload.Sam ********
