What is the current visa application waiting time at the Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi embassies?
Has anyone recently applied through the Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi embassy? What was the waiting time?
I’ve already booked a ticket flying to Da Nang next week and was planning to apply through the HCM embassy. However, I’ve just seen some posts saying that many applications are stuck in HCM with very few approvals in May.
Should I change my ticket to Hanoi and apply through there instead?

Why would a dtv be location dependent…
Makes 0 sense actually we all apply for the same visa but this forum makes it look like it’s a cat and mouse gamble game

Yangon Myanmar is the fastest, and cheapest to stay while waiting.

Applied on 12th May, additional doc request 25th May and still awaiting on my end. From others on the group, it might be better to avoid HCMC due to the long wait. All the best!

GoldDolphin9921 no idea to be honest. We are just a gym not a visa agent. We supplied an applicant with the documents and about 3 weeks later they messaged to say they were accepted.

You can still apply HCMC embassy when in da nang . Waiting time is around 3 weeks
